刘东国，中国人民大学国际关系学院外交学系副教授，中国人民大学欧洲研究中心专职研究员，硕士生导师，法学博士，2000年毕业于北京大学国际关系学院，1999年毕业于丹麦哥本哈根大学DIS学院。
研究领域：环境政治、全球公共问题、政党政治等。
发表专著《绿党政治》
合著《正确认识当今的国际环境和国际政治斗争带来的影响》
参著《共产党和社会党百年关系史》、《政党视角下的欧洲一体化》、《冷战结束后世界社会主义的发展》、《冷战结束后西欧社会民主党的新变化》等。
译著《观念与外交政策》（原著戈尔茨坦、基欧汉）、《大战略的国内基础》（原著罗斯克兰斯等）
另发表有关绿党、环境政治、全球性问题治理、民族宗教、人口学等方面的论文、译文40余篇。
开设的本科和研究生课程包括：全球公共问题与治理、国际环境政治与外交、国际谈判学、世界宗教与国际关系、当代世界经济与政治、专业英语精读、涉外英文写作等。
