刘文秀，女，汉族，中共党员，1988年毕业于吉林大学政治学系，获法学硕士学位。现为中国人民大学国际关系学院副教授，专业外语教研室主任。长期从事国际政治、国际关系类课程的教学与研究工作。主要研究方向：国际政治/欧洲政治经济。主要讲授课程：《欧洲政治经济》、《欧洲联盟政体研究》、《专业英语精读》、《专业英语口译》等。 近几年在《国际问题研究》、《欧洲》、《世界经济与政治》、《现代国际关系》等国内权威核心刊物、论文集和国际学术研讨会上发表学术论文20余篇：主要代表作为：《欧洲一体化性质及特点分析》，《界定欧盟政体性质的几个因素》，《欧盟国家主权让渡的特点、影响及理论思考》，《欧盟理事会政策制定机制探析》，《欧洲联盟的竞争政策》，《从冷战后的民族问题看“人道主义干预”》等。

主要著作为：《欧洲联盟政策及政策过程研究》，法律出版社2002年版，53万字，（合著，第一著者）

主编中英文两种版本的《欧洲联盟政策制订机制与政策领域教学大纲》计17万字，在《欧洲问题研究论坛》2000年第3、4期上分别发表；主编《国际政治经济专业英语》，校内试用教材，待出版。

     1996年作为访问学者赴英国纽卡斯尔大学研访半年，1998年作为访问学者在法国波尔多第四大学研访半年。

Liu Wenxiu is long engaged in the teaching and research work in international politics and international relations. The main research areas are European political economy and EU studies. The main teaching courses are European Political Economy, The Studies on EU Polity and Subject-based English, etc.

The resent years research activities showed in the over 20 papers published in the core journals, symposiums and international academic conferences such as: ‘The Analysis on the Characteristics of the European Integration’, ‘The Factors Determining EU Polity’, etc..
