Dr. SHI Yinhong, born on March 3, 1951, is Professor of International Relations and Director of the Center for American Studies, Renmin University of China in Beijing. His previous positions include Professor of International History at Nanjing University (1993-1998), the Associate Dean of School of Humanities of    Nanjing University (1995-1998), and Professor of International Relations and Director of the Center for International Strategic Studies at International Relations Academy, Nanjing (1998-2001). He was also President of American Historical Research Association of China from 1996 to 2002. He has been a visiting fellow at Harvard-Yenching Institute at Harvard University (1983-1984), a Fulbright research visiting scholar at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill(19995-1996), and a visiting professor for postgraduate teaching at University of Denver (2002). Dr. Shi received a Ph.D. in international history from Nanjing University in 1988. He mainly engages in research and teaching on theory and history of international politics, strategic studies, and foreign policies of both China and the United States. He has published seven books, including From Napoleon to the Vietnam War: Lectures on Modern Strategy (2003); International Politics: Theoretical Exploration, Historical Survey, and Strategic Thinking (2002), New Trends, New Structure, and New Norms: the 20^th Century’s World Politics (2000), The Origins of Confrontation and Conflict: U.S. Policy toward the Communist China and the Chinese-American Relations, 1949-1950 (1995), U.S. Intervention and War in Vietnam, 1954-1968 (1993), and 240 articles, many of them had wide influence in China and some were influential internationally. He teaches at Renmin University of China several postgraduate courses, including “Theories and Thoughts on International Relations”, “Modern and Contemporary International History”, “Classical Readings on International Politics”, “Grand Strategy: Theory and Practice”, “World Structure and the State’s Strategies”, “Modern Strategic Thinking: From Napoleon to the Vietnam War”.

    时殷弘，男，1951年3月生于江苏省常州市。现任中国人民大学国际关系学院教授、国际政治专业博士生导师，中国人民大学美国研究中心主任。从事国际关系理论思想、国际关系史、当代国际政治和战略、美国和中国的对外政策的等方面研究。学术兼职为中国美国史研究会理事长（1996-2002）、中国欧洲学会理事（1999-）、中国中美关系史专业研究委员会理事（1992-）。

曾任南京大学国际关系史教授（1993-1998）、南京大学文学院副院长、国际关系史专业博士生导师（1995-1998）、中国社会科学院美国研究所研究员（1998）、南京国际关系学院国际关系教授兼国际战略研究中心主任（1998-2001）。受高等教育经历为：南京大学历史系本科生（1978-1979）；南京大学美国外交史专业硕士研究生（1979-1981），1981年8月获硕士学位；南京大学国际关系史专业博士研究生（1985-1988），1988年6月获博士学位。曾以哈佛—燕京学社客座研究员、富布赖特研究访问学者和中国国家教委高级访问学者等身份在美国哈佛大学、北卡罗来纳大学查帕尔希尔分校、德国东欧与国际问题联邦研究所从事累计两年半的独立研究，并且曾在美国丹佛大学和香港理工大学讲授研究生课程。

在中国人民大学讲授若干课程，包括国际关系理论思想、现当代国际关系史、大战略的理论与实践、国际政治经典文献导读、世界格局与国家战略、现代战略思想：从拿破仑到越南战争。1992年10月起享受国务院颁发的政府特殊津贴；曾获江苏省首届高等院校优秀科研成果一等奖、江苏省历史学会优秀科研成果一等奖、某部级单位优秀研究成果一等奖(两次)、中国普通高等院校第三届人文社会科学优秀成果三等奖、江苏省哲学社会科学优秀成果三等奖（两次）等学术奖励。已发表个人学术专著7部，为《国际政治——理论探究•历史概观•战略思考》、《从拿破仑到越南战争：现代战略十一讲》、《新趋势·新格局·新规范——20世纪国际关系》、《敌对与冲突的由来——美国对新中国的政策和中美关系（1949-1950）》、《美国在越南的干涉和战争（1954-1968）》、《美苏从合作到冷战》、《尼克松主义》。主编《战后世界历史长编第十一册（1956-1958）》。另发表译著3部（包括独译边沁《道德与立法原理导论》）、参著3部，发表学术论文、国际政治评论和台湾问题评论230余篇。已发表的著作中许多有广泛的海内外学术影响或社会/政治影响。
