Wang Xutian, Ph.D, is Professor in Political Science, who was born in December 1963 in Yu Shu, Jilin Province. He is the deputy director of Institute of Contemporary China Studies, SIS, Renmin University of China.

    王续添教授简历

男，1963年12月生，吉林榆树人，法学（政治学）博士。现任中国人民大学国际关系学院当代中国政治研究所副所长、教授 、博士生导师。入选教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”,入选人事部、教育部等国家七部委联合遴选的“新世纪百千万人才工程”国家级人选。社会兼职有：中国现代史学会常务理事；中国人权基金会中青年专家委员会委员；中国人民大学书报资料中心《中国现代史》月刊学术顾问。

    主讲课程：本科学科基础课和专业课有《中国政府与政治概论》、《地方政府与政治导论》、《政治与行政概论》。研究生学科基础课和选修课有《当代中国政府与政治研究》、《当代中国中央与地方关系研究》、《地方主义与中国政治》。

    主要研究领域及成果：主要从事中国现当代中央与地方关系、地方政治等方面的研究。多年来，在《教学与研究》、《中共党史研究》、《近代史研究》、《抗日战争研究》、《史学月刊》、《历史研究》、《社会科学辑刊》、《学术论坛》、《长白学刊》等刊物上发表论文数十篇。著有《地方主义与中国政治》（专著）、《中国现代政治史》（合著）等。一些论著获中国人民大学和北京市哲学社会科学优秀科研成果一、二等奖
