RUC-LUISS Double Master’s Degree in
International Relations and Management
The double master's degree in International Relations and Management is a joint program between Renmin University of China (RUC) and LUISS Guido Carli University (LUISS).
It allows degree-seeking students to study abroad and earn two degrees: a Master's in Law with a major in International Studies from RUC, and either a Master's Degree in Global Management and Politics or a Master's Degree in International Relations from LUISS.
This collaborative program offers a unique and valuable opportunity for participating students. Obtaining a double degree from two leading universities such as LUISS and RUC can be highly valuable for several reasons. Firstly, it allows students to gain a diverse and well-rounded education by studying at two prestigious institutions with different teaching styles, cultures, and academic environments. Each university independently selects students based on agreed-upon selection criteria.

- First-year postgraduate students in RUC or LUISS;
- Excellent academic performance;
- Proficiency in the English language, to be demonstrated by a Bachelor’s degree taught in English or one of the following certificates:

- TOEFL (min.score: 98 iBT)
- TOEIC (min.score: 900)
- IELTS (min. Score: 6.5)
- Compliance with the requirements of both universities for admission into the relevant Master’s Degree;
- Motivation and interest in the Program.
1.3 Application
LUISS students: after the nomination, LUISS students should log into the International Students Application System of RUC (
http://international.ruc.edu.cn/application
) and complete the online application on time.
RUC students: After nomination, RUC students should complete the application process with LUISS here:

1.4 Tuition Fees
Students are responsible for paying tuition only to their home university. All personal expenses at the host university, such as visas, travel, housing, meals, health insurance, books, and stationery, must also be paid for by the students themselves.
1.5 Program Structure
In order to obtain the two degrees, students are required to take courses and complete a thesis in both universities.
