Delegation from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore Visits Renmin University's School of International Studies
On the morning of November 7, 2025, a delegation from the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore visited Renmin University's School of International Studies. The delegation was led by Associate Professor Li Mingjiang, Deputy Dean of RSIS, and over 30 faculty and students from diverse backgrounds including China, Singapore, Austria, France, Malaysia, India, Pakistan, and the United Kingdom. Li Chen, Deputy Dean and Associate Professor of the School of International Studies, welcomed the delegation and introduced the School's developments in teaching, research, and international collaboration. He also delivered a special lecture on China-U.S. relations and the global order. The session, chaired by Deputy Dean Li Mingjiang, featured active discussions and exchanges following the presentation.

On November 7th, 2025, Professor Tom Scotto, Head of the Department of Politics at the University of Strathclyde, UK, visited the School of International Studies at Renmin University of China and held discussions with Deputy Dean and Associate Professor Li Chen and Associate Professor Xu Zhengyuan.

Lecture on Changing Distribution of Power within US Government and Its Impacts Successfully Held

On October 13th, 2025, Professor Samuel Popkin, Professor Emeritus of Political Science at the University of California, San Diego, visited the School of International Studies at Renmin University of China upon invitation and delivered an academic lecture titled "Changing Distribution of Power within US Government and Its Impacts". The lecture was chaired by Professor Diao Daming of the School of International Studies and Deputy Director of the Center for American Studies. Deputy Dean Li Chen, along with faculty members Han Donglin, Xu Yanran, Zhang Yang, Wu Xian, Gui Xiaoshu, Chen Chunsong, and Zhong Yichen, also participated in the event.

Lecture on "The Non-Aligned Movement in the History of International Relations" Successfully Held

On September 23rd, 2025, Dr. Jovan Cavoski, a Senior Research Fellow from the Institute for Recent History of Serbia, was invited to visit the School of International Studies at Renmin University of China and delivered an academic lecture titled "The Non-Aligned Movement in the History of International Relations". The lecture was attended by Deputy Dean Li Chen of the school, along with teachers Xu Zhengyuan, Ma Jiahong, Wang Zhaodong, Wu Di, and Liu Yang from the Law School.
