Maka Ioseliani, Rector of Georgian Institute of Public Affairs, Visits the School of International Studies at Renmin University of China

On September 26th, Zhang Xiaojing, Chair of the School Council and Vice Dean Li Chen met with the visiting Rector of Georgian Institute of Public Affairs, Maka Ioseliani. The two parties held discussions about future exchanges and cooperation.

Vice Dean Li Chen welcomed Rector Maka Ioseliani and introduced the history, academic research, teaching and English-taught programs of the School of International Studies. He also emphasized Renmin University’s School of International Studies’ willingness to engage in various forms of exchange with the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs.

Rector Ioseliani provided a brief introduction to the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs, its founding background, notable alumni, and international collaborations.

The two sides discussed possibilities for cooperation for academic exchanges, faculty and student visits, as well as degree programs.
