Workshop on International Law Issues in China's Diplomacy

The academic workshop entitled “International Law Issues in China's Diplomacy” was initiated in September 2018 by the School of International Studies at Renmin University of China. The workshop's objective is to delve into international law issues concerning China's diplomacy in the new era and offer a legal perspective for China's multilateral diplomacy and international cooperation.

The key areas of focus for this workshop include:

    Expanding Academic Contacts: Through a joint approach encompassing diplomacy, international relations, and international law, regular lectures and seminars are conducted to foster academic vitality. The objective is to stay updated on the latest developments in the field and acquire resources for research and teaching purposes.

    Promoting Academic Output: The workshop focuses on the subject matter it covers and encourages academic output that aligns with its objectives. This involves integrating academic achievements with the development of the workshop and rewarding accomplishments in this regard.

    Enriching Personnel Composition: To strengthen the academic research team of the workshop, efforts are made to attract young teachers and exceptional doctoral students. The current personnel of the workshop includes prominent individuals such as Pu Ping, Xu Ying, Zhu Xiaoqi, Du Xinlei, Zhou Yang, Yang Lulu, among others.
