1. Tuition

The tuition for the Master of Contemporary China Studies Program is RMB 60,000 per academic year for the regular study period of two years.

Yearly tuition is due during the registration at the beginning of each academic year.

According to the university charter, our institution operates across the Zhongguancun Campus and the Tongzhou Campus.

2. Scholarships

There are two main kinds of scholarships:

- Chinese Government Scholarship

The Chinese Government Scholarship (CGS) scheme provides full scholarships to international students studying in China. Full scholarships cover tuition, accommodation, living allowance and comprehensive health insurance. For more details and to apply, please see http://www.campuschina.org/

Beijing Government Scholarship

The Beijing Government Scholarship (BGS) is funded by the Beijing Municipal Government to support outstanding international students to study and conduct research in universities and institutions in Beijing. It covers full or partial tuition fees and comprehensive medical insurance. The BGS is open for application at the beginning of the new semester.

- Tuition Scholarships

In addition to the Chinese Government Scholarship and Beijing Government Scholarship, there is a number of tuition scholarships available to support selected excellent students from a variety of backgrounds in their studies. These tuition scholarships may cover full tuition or partial tuition, or they may come in the form of a tuition refund upon successful completion of each semester.

-International Students Awards of RUC

Renmin University of China also establishes different awards for international students. The scholarship includes Academic Performance Award, Academic Progress Award, Social Activity Award, and Leadership Award. Those awards aim to encourage those who have made great performance or progress in academic, activities, community service and leadership.
