Dr. Tyler Jost from Brown University Pays a Visit to SIS

On March 4, 2024, Tyler Jost, an Assistant Professor specializing in Political Science, International, and Public Affairs at Brown University, and holder of a Ph.D. from Harvard University, accepted an invitation to the School of International Studies at Renmin University of China for a roundtable discussion with selected faculty members and students.

The event was hosted by Li Chen, the Deputy Dean of the School of International Studies. The roundtable featured contributions from Ji Xianbai, an Associate Professor, and Assistant Professors Wu Di and Wang Zhaodong of the School of International Studies, as well as Liu Yang, an Assistant Professor from the School of Law, and several undergraduates and postgraduates. The discussion covered a range of important topics, including the dynamics of major power cooperation and competition, the nuances of U.S.-China relations, and issues concerning the 'Global South.'
